Running online tournaments usually ends up as chaos across shared spreadsheets, Discord messages and screenshots. Organizers lose hours building brackets by hand and updating results, and players never know for certain when it is their turn to compete.
I developed a platform that centralizes community and tournament management: tournament creation and administration, bracket generation, user authentication and real-time data synchronization, with a modular architecture designed to scale toward more complex systems.
Organizers manage the tournament from one place and participants check their status without depending on someone posting a screenshot. The technical foundation allows adding new competition formats without rebuilding the system.
SpicyCommunity.online is a web application built as a platform for managing online communities and tournaments, focused on organizing competitive events and enabling real-time interaction between users. The project is built with modern web development technologies, including Next.js for the frontend and an API-based architecture for data management and system logic.
The platform implements features such as tournament creation and administration, bracket management, user authentication and dynamic data handling, integrating backend services for persistence and real-time synchronization. Its architecture is designed to be scalable, modular and performance-optimized, allowing expansion toward more complex community and multiplayer systems.
